saw this last night. one of the bestest movies of the year, no DOUBT. not over the moon about this trailer, but whenever IFC happens to drop this into theaters / VOD next year, i assure you it’s well worth your time. also, that michael fassbener fella is really on a roll, eh? and if you’re one of the many ladies who frequently remind me that they wants to do sex with him, please see Hunger. also, if you’re a human with a beating heart, please see Hunger. good day.
i also love this film. highlights include headbutting, some unforgettable dance sequences - especially one featuring nas, even more memorable carpet urination, and a brilliant reappearance of “california dreamin” as an important driving force in a film. although, a bit more sinister than that other movie that uses that tune so well. and yes, michael fassbender is a bit more attractive in this than in hunger…as he is not starving himself to a slow bitter death. not that he is doing particularly nice things in this, but still…sex object.
